Regular membership in the Texas Society of Professional Engineers  (T.S.P.E.)  is generally open to all Licensed and Professional Engineers, Engineers-in-Training (Engineers Interns in some states ) and degreed, graduate engineers based in Texas.  Simultaneous acceptance to membership in the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers is the general rule.   Also, Engineering students are offered a low-priced Student Membership through student chapters on campus.  Student chapters may be established at colleges having accredited Bachelor's Degree programs in any branch of Engineering, where a faculty member will sponsor the chapter.
