Young Engineer's Leadership Forum - October 2017
The next Young Engineer's Leadership Forum is approaching. All "young" engineers are invited to an afternoon of open discussion and networking. Earn 2 Professional Development Hours (PDHs). Age 45 and older need to first contact Steven Eubanks at email@example.com for permission to register. Please note that the registration will be limited to 55 attendees.
Topic: Find Your Strengths
This session will focus on discovering your innate strengths and talents, and how developing those can enhance both your productivity and job satisfaction, based on Gallup’s Strengths Finder 2.0. We will also explore the dichotomy of focusing on improving your strengths instead of just improving your weaknesses, as well as the 34 overall strength areas and how building a successful team involves mixing and matching different strengths. It will be led by Tanya Miro of CP&Y. CP&Y has used Strength Finders in their corporate culture to match strengths to jobs to increase employee morale, job satisfaction, and team productivity.
Buy the Book! When you buy the book, you also receive a unique access code that allows you to take the strength assessment test, create a permanent account, and re-take the test from time to time (each person will want a book). Other materials are also available on the website once you create the account. If you would like to take the assessment before the session, contact Steve at firstname.lastname@example.org to pick up the book or have him provide you the access code once he gets the books in. Note: he is only ordering 50 books!
